We can now offer new Home and Contents business in the Canterbury area but still have some restrictions in place for new Home business in Christchurch. These restrictions relate to homes in flood zones, the Port Hills and any home with a Section 124 notice and any home with damage that will not have the repair managed by the EQC or an insurer. Please refer any request for Home insurance in Christchurch as each risk will be given individual consideration.

By accessing the applications and data contained on this website, you agree to be bound by the applicable terms and conditions agreed between Lumley General Insurance (N.Z) Limited (“LGNZ”) and the organisation that you work for (“Customer”) relating to Customer’s access to the applications and data on this website.

You will change your password from time to time when prompted to.

   • could damage the computer systems of LGNZ, the Customer or any third party; or
   • could allow any unauthorised party to access the applications or any systems or data of LGNZ or the Customer.
4. You will ensure that any information derived from the applications or data about LGNZ’s or the Customer’s business, policyholders or product information, including but not limited to insurance premium rates, is kept confidential at all times.
5. You will not reveal any information concerning these terms or their subject matter or the business of LGNZ to any third party.
6. If you have any problems using the applications or believe there is any fault with the applications, you will contact the appropriate support personnel within your organisation as soon as practicable.
